DISPLAY SIZE OF Huawei Y9a
Smartphones these days doesn't come with small displays any longer as almost all Brands have opted for larger screens. Giving end users with no choice than to put other factors into consideration before purchasing android phones since large screens are now common.
In this aspect, the display size of the Hauwei Y9a is a big one. It is an IPS LCD screen with a display size of 6.63 inches it is measuring a 106.1 cm2 with an approximately ~84.8% screen-to-body ratio. I think the bezel has been reduced to the nearest minimum to make the phone look fantastic.
The screen Resolution is a 1080 x 2400 pixels that is now common on midrange and even low end devices. The screen aspect ratio is 20:9. Having an approximately (~397 ppi density) in the Display department.
One interesting thing about this display is that it doesn't have a cut out or a notch for a selfie camera. Reason due to the fact that the Hauwei Y9a is having a motorized pop up camera instead.

CHIPSET OR MICROPROCESSOR OF Huawei Y9a
Folks, to be honest with you, I didn't found this Chipset a surprising thing to me especially if you are a follower of other brands and OEMs . You would realise that many devices have been operating under this Chipset.
The Chipset in question is that MediaTek Helio G80 Chipset that has been used on Redmi9, Infinix and Tecno. Check out the Review section for confirmation.
The MediaTek Helio G80 is a gaming centric Processor. Mediatek Helio G80 is a (12 nm) sized Processor. It's Central Processing unit CPU is an Octa-core Processor. Two of the cores are Cortex-A75 clocked at (2x2.0 GHz) and the remaining six cores is the Cortex-A55 with a 1.8 GHz speed. Fantastic combination.
The Graphics processing Unit know as the GPU is basically the Mali-G52 MC2. It is in charge of graphics activities such as gaming and other power demanding tasks that has to do with imagery.
As seen on Redmi9 already. The MediaTek Helio G80 Chipset can Game adequately but not completely. If you are looking for a device meant for gaming why don't you look into higher Device like Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 9 pro, Redmi K30 Pro, Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC and many more. STORAGE And RAM OF Huawei Y9a
If there is anything that captured my attention first on this device I would say the memory configurations of the Hauwei Y9a did. The Card slot is a NM (Nano Memory), up to 256GB that uses shared SIM slot. Meaning this phone has a non dedicated SD card slot.
Internal storage: The internal storage configurations is a 128GB of ROM sufficient enough for storage of files and applications. And if it wont be enough you could make use of the SD card slot provided on this device.
RAM: The Ram of the Hauwei Y9a are the 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM configurations. But the Variant available in Nigeria is the 8GB of Ram option. This will go along way in assisting the Chipset in terms of multitasking ability of the device.
I am really satisfied with this memory configurations but the nano memory card slot made available will pose a threat to users in Nigeria as the SD card is not common in Nigeria yet.

In this department, Huawei is one of the leading brands in light, smooth, fast and efficiently customized Optimized operating system. Hardly would you see their devices lagging due to buggy OS.
The Hauwei Y9a has come with an Android 10, and an a customized EMUI 10.1 skin. With no Google Play Services. Like I made mentioned of at the beginning of this article. The restrictions placed on Hauwei by the United States government caused it.
But that is not the end of life as Hauwei has introduced their own version of app store called the AppGallery where you could get all types of apps you will need on an android device. That is cool right?
So if you are having a second thought on purchasing this device based on the reasons mentioned above, think no more as everything is now sorted out.

The finger print sensor mounted on the Hauwei Y9a is a side mounted fingerprint reader that was very fast in responding to operations. Added to this is the face unlock, Pattern, pin and password mode of operation. One has no reason to complain about the security of this device has it has all it takes to function properly.

This is the kind of a device needed in Nigeria and Africa at large due to the poor nature of power or electricity around us. The battery capacity is enough for day to day activities with light and moderate usage.
But in heavy usage the Hauwei Y9a was able to produce a SOT of around 13 hours of PUBG and PES 2020. Do not forget that due to heating issue associated with MediaTek Chipsets and with a large screen, the battery draining was a bit faster.

CONCLUSION ON Huawei Y9a
My take on the Hauwei Y9a is simple. Every Feature on this phone is stunning aside the Chipset used. When compared with The Redmi9 with the same Chipset which is selling at almost less than half the price of this device with better battery size and a moderate 18W charging speed, I would say that the Hauwei Y9a is over priced.
The only thing this Hauwei Y9a beat it to is in the memory department, camera size, charging speed and that's it.
So I think this device is over priced really with numerous devices scattered across all Brands and selling below the Hauwei Y9a. But if you decide on going for this phone I would say it has the ability of ticking almost all the boxes. So go for it. But my take on this device remain the same.
I got mine since thursday, but the only challenge i am facing with the device is that most of my important apps are not compatible with it via app gallery, patel seach.. And unfortunately its not a goggleplay phone...
I just hope huawei will find solution to that soonest.
