There is no doubt that Xiaomi has been able to release smartphones with unique features yearly. It's either they are the pioneer of a specific hardware components or they are able to integrate latest technology properly and at an affordable price.
No doubt the release of Xiaomi Mi 10T series. I recently broke the news of the release and launched of Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite, Mi 10T and the Mi 10T Pro which I summarised each of these devices.
Today this article is all about the full hands on review of the Xiaomi Mi 10T Device. Making rounds as a phone with class. But remember we have got Xiaomi Mi 10 pro and Xiaomi 10 Ultra as the overall bosses.
INTRODUCTION TO XIAOMI Mi 10T Pro
If there is a phone worth buying, then the Mi 10T is a device worth given a shot especially if you are a high end user which could be termed as an heavy usage in demand for speed and overall efficiency. I believe that the devices standing in front of this phone from the Xiaomi brands are the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro and the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra.
So when placed side by side with other phones from other brands, how does this phone perform. These and many more I will be talking about in today's Reviews. Including camera samples.
Mind you the only differences between the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro is the Camera size and the colours.

HERE IS THE FULL REVIEW OF THE XIAOMI Mi 10T Pro
Xiaomi's devices are one of the best phones you can get anywhere at an affordable prices. When compared to the likes of Samsung and Hauwei phones you will realise that the competition and Differences between this OEMs is just as little as you think. Making their phones stand out anywhere, anyday.
The most prolific aspect of this phone is it's 144Hz screen refresh rate. Then the 108MP all great performance camera. Not forgetting the 5000mAh battery calibrated with 33W fast charging. Is not this great? The most important part is it's Snapdragon 865G Processor which is a 7nm gaming centric Processor. The list is endless. Permit me to delve into the full review of this device properly
DISPLAY
6.67 inch display is.now becoming a norm for almost all the latest Xiaomi smartphones if you could recall Devices like Redmi Note 9S, Redmi Note 9 pro, Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC, Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite, Xiaomi Mi 10T, Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro and the incoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 rumoured to arrive very soon, and a host of others. The 6.67" FHD+ screen is just fantastic to behold in terms of operations. It is large enough to display and perform inline with whatever an individual has going on on the screen.
This LCD display has a 144Hz screen refresh rate that happens to be the best so far in this department. This high refresh rate gives right to a smooth, fast and furious performing screen display. You could compare this screen high speed response to the likes of THE FLASH or even THE BLACK LIGHTNING MOVIES. Due to this, in game play and whatever was happening on the screen were performed smoothly with most games adjusting themselves automatically to the screen refresh rates.
In terms of pixels display, this phone has a 1080 x 2400 pixels, very efficient enough to be paired with such a big screen and an LCD screen just to say the least. It has a 20:9 aspect ratio with an approximately 395 ppi density.
The brightness level of the screen is a strong one fixed at 500 nits typ. brightness as advertised by Xiaomi. Usually this Brightness Level is Okay for a direct sunlight usage. To enjoy the best I think the screen should be on automatic screen brightness more for a better results.
In the display department Xiaomi really tried in integrating the 144Hz on an LCD screen. The high pixel display and the large screen size leaves this device as one of the most sort after.
But to be honest, a device of this nature should be carrying a FHD AMOLED or SUPER AMOLED DISPLAY since this phone is tagged a premium device. And this might tip many potential users off.

CHIPSET OR MICROPROCESSOR
Ladies and gentlemen, this department captured my attention really. Many users of smartphones today in Nigeria tends to neglect this all important aspect of a smartphone. They don't bother to know what kind of Chipset is used on a device instead they keep going along with latest trend. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Mobile Platform is believed to be a high-end smartphone and tablet SoC that Qualcomm announced in December 2019. The SoC integrates a fast 'Prime Core' that clocks up to 2.84 GHz and three further fast ARM Cortex-A77 performance cores, which can reach up to 2.42 GHz.
I hereby introduce you to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865G Octa-core Processor which is used on this phone. This is a high end efficiency Chipset. Fabricated using a 7nm silicon semiconductor. It has a higher power efficiency when compared to SD 720G, SD 730G, SD 732G, SD 750G etc. This Processor performance is second to none. Performing it's tasks within split seconds with out any sign of delay.
It's CENTRAL PROCESSING UNIT is an Octa-core Processor. One of the core is clocked at 1x2.84 GHz Kryo 585 which is the highest speed believed to be in charge of speed demanding activities. We also have the same core but this time they are three in numbers but their doped was reduced to 2.42 GHz Kryo 585 believed to assist in switching automatically to high end operations. Then the remaining four cores were clocked at & 1.80 GHz Kryo 585 which are believed to perform light operations giving the device stability. What a magnificent calibrations
The Adreno 650 is the Graphics processor attached to this Chipset. It's performance is to render images and other graphics stuffs which is believed to operate at high speed especially graphics activities that has to do with gaming at a higher Frame rate.
In all the gaming performance of this phone was absolutely smooth and fast reasons due to the additional 144Hz refresh rate on the display. Processor wise it is a great addition by Xiaomi always trying to use latest Chipset on their devices.
Remember that this Chipset is a 5G enabled Chipset. If you are a Nigerian you will agree with me that we still have a long way to go before 5G Network get to us. Which I believe has a lot of advantages. I will be writing on the advantages of 5G Network in Nigeria soonest. Do check back.
What am saying in essence is that if you purchase this device in Nigeria, you can only use it on 4G and below since there is no 5G. Which is under using the device to be honest. But 5G or not you could still enjoy this phone on good 3G and 4G Networks. Check the network menu of this blog.
STORAGE And RAM
STORAGE: Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro has two internal storage variant. These includes the 128GB and the 256GB variant. Storage should not be a problem to the potential users of this device as it has no SD card slot which is a great turn off from this device.
RAM: For a Processor of this high magnitude and caliber, I would have expected 12GB RAM being attached to this phone. But instead, the usual 6 and 8GB RAM was used on this device. It doesn't bold well with me honestly. But it will be sufficient enough for multitasking abilities.
And based on multitasking abilities, this device did not failed in any way as it was able to retain an open app for a long time when returned to. Although I think it can be improved with system Optimization.

MAIN CAMERA
108 MP main rear Camera setup is the focal point of the Mi 10T Pro. It's performance was just absolutely stunning. The 108MP camera is being attached with other cameras which includes the 13 MP for ultra wide and 5MP for macro. This camera features a LED flash, HDR and panorama mode.
It has the ability of recording videos at 8K@30fps, 4K@30/60fps, 1080p@30/60/120/240/960fps etc. This a great from Xiaomi and I can tell you that I was able to obtain Camera samples all thanks to XDA developers.
SELFIE CAMERA
A 20MP front facing camera is the focal point of the punch hole Found on the top left side of this phone screen. The selfie Camera was superb in performing and clearity. It features an HDR and an 1080p@30fps, 720p@120fps. This is one of the best Selfie Camera you could get across all brands. Although Infinix Zero 8 and Tecno Camon 16 premier are both using 48MP as front facing camera.
In terms of pictures beautiful and realistic photos were taken with this device with all the details appearing or surfacing properly.
PLATFORM OR OS
The Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro came out of the box with the latest MIUI 12 on Android 10 operating system. Those who have already gotten the MIUI 12 OS have been sharing their testimonies of how really good this particular OS is.
It has a better optimizations and fluidity over its predecessors, the MIUI 11. And with the MIUI 12 Users have no reason to worry because the OS is as sweet as that on the iPhone. This OS is smooth in terms of operations with new features, clearity, good optimization and real life feeling during operation.
CONNECTIVITY
In this area this device Supports almost every thing when you talk about connections and connectivity capabilities.
It has an upgraded Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity along with a GPS. Other connectivity include, NFC, INFRARED PORT for remote control, WLAN, FM radio, USB type C all for your operational excellence.
I didn't noticed any challenges with any other the connectivity options available as every thing worked perfectly. But the usage of some of these Network connectivity depends on location, take for example the availability of NEAR FIELD CONNECTIVITY (NFC) which is not currently available in most countries, meaning it cannot be used even though the device has it. It's not Xiaom's fault though. WiFi CONNECTIVITY was smooth and Hotspot hosting was also very great.
SECURITY
The device Supports a side mounted fingerprint sensor placed on the power button. It was easy to reach and fast in response when unlocking the phone.
Other security options include the pattern, Pin, and password which one could use as a means of protection against unauthorized access and usage. This is really great design
This design is becoming prominent and common now because many OEMs have bought into using this idea.

BATTERY
But do you need to complain if the battery drain because within an hour your battery will be fully charged, kudos to Xiaomi because you don't need to spend the whole day charging your device. Time is very precious my friend.
In times of charging time You will only get this charging speed only if you switched off your device while charging or When your device is charging under flight mode.
But if you are charging this device and using it at the same time then you would expect a longer than 1 hour 20 minutes to fully charge. Which is why it is advisable to not make use of a device while charging because it could affect it seriously.
DESIGN LANGUAGE
The loudspeaker is a double firing speaker placed top and bottom of the phone. It was very loud producing a bass output just like an mp3 player. I am particular about the design language of this device. The body build is excellent because It looks and feels smart to touch and hold. The placement of the camera set-up is nice giving it a beautiful and unique outlook. The curviness of the device made the device easier to hold when operating.
A fantastic design from xiaomi. Usually I hate bezels and this device offers almost a bezel less screen with almost 86% screen to body ratio. It has an anti bacterial coating and protection. First of its kind.
PRICE
The current price of this device in Nigeria is N280, 000 for the 8GB RAM 256GB ROM variant if it makes it way into Nigeria today, this device is not really worth it with this high price level placed on an LCD screen.
This device is great but not the greatest. You should consider vividly before selling your device such as Xiaomi Mi Note 10 or xiaomi 10 Ultra. Because their differences is just negligible. Go for what you want though because premium feel and flagship experience is a story one needs to share himself.

COLOURS
The following are the colours of this device. these include the Cosmic Black, Lunar Silver. All of the afore mentioned colours are just fantastic, as they are all good to obtain. It is left on an individual decision to choose which ever device is good for him/her.

CONCLUSIONS
I will conclude by saying that, I am not impressed with the LCD screen used on this device. Common guys LCD screens are meant for mid range devices and not termed premium devices. Spending almost 200 thousand Naira in Nigeria for this device is not worth it based on the LCD screen and even the battery size.
But what am really impressed with is the 144Hz screen refresh rate, the 865G Chipset used on this device. It is a device to behold and operate. The 33W fast charging is not bad but I would have expected more than this or even a wireless charging ability. It remains to be seen as to when Xiaomi would include this technology on their devices.
Watched some unboxing video's and video taken on mi 10 T by 2-3 YouTuber's. I felt like the OIS( Optical Image Stabilization) in this device in less smoother compared with Mi 10 Ultra!
And also only 8 GB on top variants! Seriously?? 😒
It'd have been better if you had gone with 100 dollars difference between 2 variants on pro version and introduced a 8/128 & 12/256!
