Infinix Zero 5G Launched as Infinix First-Ever 5G Smartphone

 

Fans, lovers and users of Infinix mobility under transsion Holdings has launched its first-ever 5G smartphone, Zero 5G after it was scheduled to launch on February 14 in India.

Infinix Zero 5 is a behemoth that features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz high refresh rate, powered by the high performance Dimensity 900 SoC with support for 13 5G network bands.

It also comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 onboard storage. It has just 48MP rear camera, 13MP 2x telephoto camera with up to 30X hybrid zoom and 2MP depth sensor; 16MP front camera.

The design of the phone is called Uni-Curve and resembles the Find X3 Pro bump where the elevated camera island sits under the same piece of plastic as the rest of the back panel.

It has a heat pipe to keep the temperatures in check, because of heating issues with MediaTek Chipsets.  The operating system is XOS 10, based on Android 11. I hope it's upgraded to Android 12 soon.

It is housed by a large 5000mAh battery capacity with support for 33W fast charging.
